Police are searching for a man who tried to abduct a 12-year-old boy while he was waiting for his mother after school last Friday in Homestead. The incident happened at Miami Arts Academy at 3000 SE 9th St. Police said the man, who is believed to be a white male between the ages of 45 to 55, lowered his passenger side window and told the boy, "Hey kid. Your mom wants me to come pick you up. ". Police said the boy told the driver that he was going to call his mother first to check, and said the driver quickly sped off. The victim called his mother as he walked back to the school and notified school administration about the incident. "He's like, 'Mommy, he's really creepy looking,' and you know, he was trying to describe him, and I just cut him off and said, 'Logan, go get help right now.
