MY16 Mitsubishi Triton launches with 'car-like' ability - Coffs Coast Advocate

CLAIMING the title of "sports utility", Mitsubishi's new Triton is more car-like in its agility, handling and performance. Still maintaining its off-road prowess, the MY16 Mitsubishi Triton has improved steering for car park duties and school runs, features a more compliant suspension and improved cabin comforts. Prices start from $24,490 plus on-roads for the single cab, while the most popular double cab begins from $35,990. The latter may sound expensive with the current model in run-out start from $29,990 drive-away, but Mitsubishi says it has dropped... Both old and new variants will sell side-by-side until stock runs out - most likely until August. Mitsubishi's Tony Principe said this sales tactic would enable the Triton stay competitive in the "tradie" section, while the new variant with its five-star safety rating would again open the door to big business sales - especially in the mining...
