2014 Infiniti Q50 Hybrid, Q70 Hybrid Recalled To Fix Two Problems - Edmunds.com

WASHINGTON — Nissan North America is recalling the 2014 Infiniti Q50 Hybrid and Q70 Hybrid sedans to fix a problem that may lead to stalling and to fix faulty transmission parts that could fracture, according to the National Highway Traffic... In the first campaign, Nissan is recalling 5,412 2014 Q50 Hybrid and Q70 Hybrid sedans because a software error may cause the electric motor to stop working while the car is being driven using the electric motor only. Infiniti dealers will reprogram the motor inverter software. In the second campaign, the 2014 Infiniti Q50 Hybrid and Q70 Hybrid sedans may have been assembled with transmissions whose housings were damaged during manufacturing. Infiniti dealers will inspect the transmission assembly and replace it if cracks are found. Owners can contact Infiniti at (800) 662-6200. Edmunds says: If you own one of these vehicles, it's time to schedule a service appointment with your dealer. Source: www.edmunds.com
