Pedestrian struck, killed in Powder Springs - CBS46 News Atlanta
A woman is dead after she was struck by a car on Powder Springs Road near Pine Grove Road in Powder Springs. According to investigators, the woman was walking in the right southbound lane of Powder Springs Road when she was struck from behind by the driver of a green 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene and her name is not being released pending notification of next of kin. The driver of the Jeep has been identified as Joshua Lee Shank, 31, of Powder Springs. Source: www.cbs46.com
