State patrol: Camas police officer involved in crash - The Columbian

Officer Ward Kruse was driving a Camas Police Department patrol vehicle, a 2015 Ford Explorer, south on Washougal River Road at about 9:45 p. m. , according to Washington State Patrol. Adam Anderson, 32, of Washougal was driving a 1991 Jeep Cherokee west on E Street toward Washougal River Road and crashed into the officer’s vehicle, state patrol reported. Kruse had another police officer in the vehicle with him, Camas police Officer Debrah Riedl said. Kruse remains on duty, Riedl said, and the agency is waiting for the outcome of the state patrol’s investigation. Source: www.columbian.com
