Williamston woman died in wreck, husband in serious condition - Greenville News
A Williamston woman died in a wreck Sunday afternoon and her husband was seriously injured, the Anderson County Coroner’s Office said. Cheryl Cobb, 67, stopped at a stop sign on Pine Trail then pulled out onto Midway Road at 12:55 p. m. Sunday, the Highway Patrol said. A 1997 Jeep Cherokee traveling northbound on Midway Road struck Cobb’s 2003 Toyota Highlander on the driver’s side, Cpl. Cheryl Cobb suffered neck and chest trauma and died at the scene, Coroner Greg Shore said. The driver of the Jeep Cherokee was not injured, authorities said. Source: www.greenvilleonline.com
