If you are planning to upgrade your GS or IS to the Lexus LS or Toyota TT Supra brake calipers, then you ARE GOING TO NEED THESE!
Without these spacers that space the lower balljoint assembly downward, the brake caliper cannot be installed due to interference with the tie rod end stud.
These are 17mm long, which allows clearance with oem and aftermarket tie rod end studs (some studs are longer than others, and the usual 15mm RCAs sometimes do not allow the caliper to clear the stud causing some people to try to grind off material which can possibly ruin the caliper if too much material is taken off.
These spacers will drop the ride height by approx. 17mm, so if you are lowered you may need to adjust your coilovers to compensate for the additional drop.
