Lexus PH launches new ES 350 - Inquirer.net

Lexus Manila has launched the 2015 ES, featuring numerous upgrades to the exterior components and interior features. The new ES 350 now has a bigger spindle grille, the current main brand feature of Lexus. It also gets L-shaped LED daytime running lights, wider front and rear bumpers, and new L-shaped taillights. 17-inch alloys with 20-spoke wheel design are now mounted on the ES. The interior gets more refinement such as better stitching on more surfaces, quilted seats, color-matched upholstery on the center console, and sportier steering wheel. The Lexus remote touch interface gets new buttons for smoother operation. Lexus Sales and Marketing Director Spencer Yu says that the LS is now more suitable for self-driving owners, as well as those who prefer to be chauffeur-driven. Engine and transmission remain unchanged: the ES 350 packs a 3. 5-liter V6 good for 272 hp, paired with a 6-speed automatic. The car gets a new hill start assist system to help prevent the car from rolling backwards while driving uphill. The new Lexus ES 350 retails at P3,658,000.
