Magna International is a Canadian-based global automotive supplier based in Ontario and one of its more known operations includes Magna Steyr, the manufacturer of some famous automobiles such as the Mercedes-Benz Gelandewagen and Unimog trucks as... But that’s not all as Magna International also includes their Magna Powertrain, Magna Exteriors, Magna Interiors, Magna Seating, Magna Closures, Magna Mirrors, Magna Electronics and Cosma International. And they’re about to get a whole lot larger since recently, Magna International confirmed to have acquired famed German-based transmission manufacturer, Getrag. Getrag has been a leading manufacturer of automotive transmissions with one of their key rivals being ZF. Getrag, like ZF, has supplied and still supplies numerous manual, sequential, automatic, dual-clutch and hybrid transmissions to automakers...
