Honda has been working to raise the sporty performance perception of its vehicles and already has a couple of highly anticipated cars coming soon. The Civic Type R, a sporty hatchback, will be imported from Europe and added to the Civic lineup. At just more than 11 feet long, Edmunds notes that it’s a full two feet shorter than a small sports car like the Mazda Miata MX-5. It’s also two feet shorter than a Honda Fit, the brand’s smallest car in the current U. S. lineup.
