MINI Cooper S 2% Oversized ATI Crank Pulley Harmonic Balancer Super Damper for 2002-2006 R53 MINI Cooper S and 2005-2008 R52 MINI Convertible S.Comes as seen in picture one WMW 2% Oversized ATI Super Damper Crank pulley with install bolt.
This is not only a direct replacement for a failed crankshaft pulley, but it's also an upgrade. This ATI damper is a few pounds lighter than the stock pulley so your engine will rev faster. But it is also an inertia damper so it has a weight in it that moves to balance the engine which will balance much better than the stock chunk of rubber the stock one has.This Oversized by 2% larger than the original MINI damper is a great option for cars that are John Cooper Works or customers looking for that little extra boost. Since it is slightly larger it will spin the accessories just a little faster including the supercharger, gaining you a little bit of boost at lower rpms.
Will ONLY fit MINI Cooper S supercharged engine with W11 engine, does NOT fit any other engines or model MINI.Fits:2002-2006 R53 MINI Cooper S and JCW2005-2008 R52 MINI Cooper S Convertible and JCW
The included install bolt is longer than stock with a washer that will allow you to press it on about half way, then you can use the stock bolt to press it on the rest.
This is the only crankshaft harmonic balancer damper replacement we use in our shop as we never recommend the Alta, M7, Kavs, or Cravenspeed lightweight pulleys as they can damage the bearings and oil pumps.
