The Mitsubishi Montero SUV was sold in the U. S. between 1983 and 2005, and a new model wouldn't be completely out of the blue given recent reports and Mitsubishi concepts previewing this new SUV. The Mitsubishi Pajero, as the Montero is known in other markets, is still on sale worldwide, and we previously reported that the new Pajero/Montero would move upmarket and offer a plug-in hybrid version.
