Longmont's Sprinkler Used Cars reports 3 more stolen cars - Longmont Times-Call

A manager at Sprinkler Used Cars watched Thursday afternoon as a thief made off with a Honda Accord, and then discovered two other cars already had been stolen. Last month, Sprinkler reported four cars stolen from its lot in one day, but all four were eventually covered. Lakeside police recovered the stolen Honda on Thursday night and arrested 31-year-old David Vigil on charges of aggravated motor vehicle theft and violation of a protection order. Satur said the manager also reported that a 2002 Mercury Cougar, which had last been seen on the lot on Jan. While the responding officer was writing a report, the manager called and reported that a third vehicle, a primer grey 1999 Mitsubishi Diamante, also had been stolen, probably at the same time as the Mercury. Lakeside Deputy Chief Terry Hughes said his office received information from Denver police that the stolen vehicle was in their jurisdiction after they received a hit on the vehicle's LoJack system and later arrested Vigil. A Longmont police report said Vigil was arrested in a Walmart parking lot. Source: www.timescall.com
