Residents call police as caregiver becomes ill - Shelbyville Times-Gazette

For the second time in two weeks, Shelbyville police have been called to an Eagle Boulevard residential home due to a caregiver becoming incapacitated. The woman was taken to Heritage Medical Center while a manager of Johnson's Residential Centers came to the home an hour later, police said. A neighbor told police the caregiver moved to Shelbyville from East Tennessee for substance abuse treatment earlier this year. Another employee of Johnson's told police later Saturday she had discovered one patient's medications were missing. * More than $600 worth of clothing, a cell phone and change was taken from a King Arthur Trailer Court home Saturday or Sunday. * A Confederate flag was stolen from a flagpole mounted on a car at a Cedar Glade Circle home between 7 p. m. Saturday and 12:35 a. m. Sunday. Security video shows three people entering the area around the truck twice, police said. Other unlocked vehicles have been entered at the business during nighttime hours recently, according to police. * A subwoofer was stolen between Tuesday and Saturday from a vehicle at Ed's Motors, South Cannon Boulevard, police said.
