A man was shot and killed early Saturday in unincorporated Gretna, the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office reported. He had been shot multiple times, and a number of spent 9 mm casings were found near his body, spokesman Glen Boyd said. The victim did not live in the block and apparently was at the apartment complex visiting a friend, Boyd said.
