Mazda do not have access to the Ecoboost V6 engines, they do however have access to the Ecoboost 4cly engines, the current 3. 7? “Cyclone” engine is a fine engine but its dumb in that it does not have DiVCT and also is MPEFI (not direct injected)... Instead they stick with the Ford 3. 2 in the BT which has been nothing but problems (including the gear box) and put a turbo 2. 5 petrol in the CX-9 and people will do what they do now – walk straight out of the dealership because there is no diesel.
