Car review: 2015 Nissan Pathfinder SL 4x4 - The Salinas Californian

It's hard not to like the 2015 Nissan Pathfinder SL sport utility vehicle. No dummies, Nissan engineers have taken full advantage of that "real-time" data and have designed a better and better SUV. I must say my tester came came with a great level of fit and finish -- that overall sense of whether a car is just made right and with care. Now in its third year from a 2012 game-changing redesign, the Pathfinder, with its all-business chrome front grille, offers exceptional levels of versatility, fuel efficiency and full-size comfort for the money. Our tester featured room for seven passengers plus room a whole lot of gear which makes the SUV the perfect vehicle for a great summer roadtrip or for a snowy holiday weekend getaway. In addition to dashing exterior looks, the Pathfinder SL comes with a bunch of cool goodies, some of which are standard and some you'll have to pay extra for. My tester also came with a convenient 120V power outlet and a cool good-sized power moonroof. My tester came with UV-reducing solar glass up front with privacy glass in the rear.
