Skoda builds most dependable cars, says new study - Express.co.uk

The 2015 UK Vehicle Dependability Study (VDS), the first of its kind in the UK by the research company, measured the problems experienced over the course of a year by the original owners of vehicles after 12-36 months of ownership. The study examined 177 problems across eight different categories: engine and transmission, vehicle exterior, driving experience, features/controls/displays, audio/communication/entertainment/navigation (ACEN), seats, heating/ ventilation/cooling... A car's overall dependability was then determined by the number of problems experienced per 100 vehicles (PP100), with a lower score (which reflected fewer problems) reflecting higher quality.
