COLONA – The life of Zachary Michael Phillips, 18-year-old son of Lyndsie McCoy, Colona, and Jamie Phillips, was cut short by an unmerciful act of violence. A time for friends and family to say goodbye to Zac will be noon to 2 p. m. Sunday at Van Hoe Funeral Home, Ltd. A brief committal service will follow at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. A celebration of Zac's life will follow 4:30 to 10 p. m. at the pavilion at Riverside Park, Moline. In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorials may be made to the family. Zac was born on Dec.
