About this vehicle

This 2001 Toyota 4Runner is an original. The owner has had it for 2 years. The vehicle runs great and is used as a daily driver.

Seller's Notes

has a lift, 2” I believe

Exterior

Exterior has a few dings and a scrape or two, nothing serious. This truck is 100% rust free, as it has spent most of its life in Arizona. I have added a light bar on the roof and four smaller LED lights in the bumper. Windshield is in perfect condition, was replaced 6 months ago. Transmission was rebuilt last year, I still have the receipt for proof. The tires are in great shape with a ton of life left in them, I put all new tires on two years ago. The half shafts were renewed 2 years ago. The 4wd engages and works flawlessly. The bad parts of this vehicle is, I removed the ABS fuse due to the ABS not functioning properly, so this means the brake light, the VSC off, the VSC trac and the ABS lights are on the dash. this doesn’t affect the truck from braking, obviously the ABS won’t function though. I have driven it for 2 years with no problems. I replaced the upper and lower ball joints using Moog joints from Rockauto-I understand OEM is generally recommended, I haven’t felt any play in the joints so far, but I would recommend the joints be replaced with OEM at some point just to be sure. The timing belt and water pump was replaced in 2018 and has around 15k miles on it. The steering wheel doesn’t sit absolutely perfect in the middle. Otherwise this is a fantastic reliable rust-free 3rd gen 4Runner! This truck should have no problem driving to any destination across the USA. I am downsizing to a Corolla, hence the sale.

Interior

The interior is decent, could definitely use a good clean, this has been my families road trip truck. No rips or hard wear in the cloth seats. The original stereo works just fine.

Engine

The engine runs flawlessly...
