The crankshaft is the heart of a vehicle subjected to various forces. As the crankshaft rotates, it pushes and pulls the connecting rod and piston assembly. Over time bearing journals wear down, or twisting and bending can occur with the forces placed on a crankshaft. This is a critical part to any engine, once it is worn or has been damaged it must be replaced.* This part is designed for the FSI engine only. This can easily be found on the engine cover of your 2.0T VW/Audi. It will clearly be stamped FSI (not TFSI).
