Note that there are others on eBay using pictures from my previous listings.  They are NOT showing you the actual item they are selling.  I take actual pictures, and video, during inspection for every differential I sell.
Very nice, fresh pull, top condition.  Backlash is .008", which indicates this differential is in good shape. Ratio is 4.10 (41 teeth on the ring, 10 on the pinion).
There are two variations of driveshaft flanges, even within a single year.  This one has the thick flange, which uses studs & nuts instead of bolts.  They are interchangeable, your nuts will fit on included studs and the driveshaft flange pattern is the same (60mmx60mm)
Driveshaft flange bolt pattern is 60mm x 60mm.  If you have a Tacoma, check this because some have a larger pattern and/or one which isn't square. For Tundras 2005 was a split year, some have the 60mmx60mm flange, some have the 66mmx66mm flange.  Measure yours or send me your VIN and I'll check it for you.
Note for Tacomas:  Not compatible with trucks originally equipped with the rear diff lock option.  Toyota used a different axle housing and flange bolt pattern for those.  This is for 4WD and Prerunner Tacomas without TRD e-locker!
No signs of pinion leakage.  Gasket surface has been scraped and cleaned, so this is ready to install.

INSTALLATION NOTES:  If your old differential has been making noise such as grinding or whining, there WILL be loose metal in your housing.  It might be microscopic, but still no good for the new differential.  FIRST, you must take a magnet and run it all around inside the...
