2015 Nissan Titan PRO-4X: Bashing Through the Snow [Video Review] - The Fast Lane

The 2015 Titan is the last hurrah for Nissan’s current full-size pickup truck. It’s difficult to believe that this truck has been on sale with the same underpinnings and design since the 2004 model year. The current Titan is physically the smallest of the light-duty trucks, and all the competitors continue to grow in size. Naturally, the 2016 Titan also stretches in most dimensions to match, but that is another story. Despite its size, the current Titan is not very efficient. The EPA rating for the 4×4 model is 12 MPG city and 17 MPG on the highway. However, that 5. 6L V8 is still one of the better sounding V8s in a pickup truck. The next generation of the Titan will not go on sale until the end of calendar year 2015. So, you still have several months if you want to get the older style truck. Got to had it to Nissan – they made a great truck that held up well for over 10 years. The new model will be better in every way and it will take a good chunk of the 1/2 ton and 3/4 ton market with their Aisin/Cummins combo. The old Nissan did damn well on the Ike for a 5 speed with 317 hp pulling 10k. Considering it was only 30 seconds slower than the GM 6 speed with 100 hp more says a lot. Still have my 2004 Titan king cab le 4×4. Best truck I’ve ever owned. Source: www.tfltruck.com
