One killed in U.S. 67 wreck, fire - Daily Journal Online

A local man was killed in a pickup truck accident near a southbound U. S. 67 exit on Saturday. Wall, 76, of Fredericktown, was killed in a 3:16 p. m. accident that took place two-tenths of a mile north of Highway 72 in Madison County. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred when a southbound 2002 GMC Sonoma driven by Loretta M. Wall, 76, of Fredericktown, traveled off the left side of the roadway at a curve, overcorrected, ran off the right side of... The Fredericktown Fire Department, along with MSHP, the Fredericktown Police Department and the Madison County Sheriff's Office responded to the accident, closing southbound U. S. 67 near the Fredericktown/Arcadia exit for a period of time. The southbound lanes were reopened at about 3:45 p. m. Other area accidents over the weekend included a four vehicle collision that took place at 6:15 p. m. Friday night on northbound U. S. 67 at Highway H in St. Francois County.
