More crimes tied to high speed chase suspect - WSAU

(WSAU) -- A Wausau man is now in custody, charged with burglarizing several properties in Lincoln and Marathon counties. That incident started as a domestic disturbance at 11:00 o'clock that morning in the 1200 block of Prospect Avenue, and Ebensperger fled in a pickup truck when police arrived. Now, Lincoln County deputies say properties in the towns of Corning, Rock Falls, and Scott were recently broken into by Ebensperger. Detectives identified their suspect when one of the stolen guns from Lincoln County was pawned at a Wausau pawn shop. The pawn shop was able to identify Ebensperger as the man who tried to pawn the gun. Ebensperger has been referred to the Lincoln County District Attorney on 13 felony counts of burglary. No Lincoln County court date has been set yet, since he is currently being held in the Marathon County Jail on a high cash bond from the high speed chase incident. Source: wsau.com
