Motorcyclist dies in crash in Union Parish Wednesday - Knoe.com
Shortly after 6:00pm, on August 12, 2015, Troopers from Louisiana State Police Troop F responded to a three-vehicle fatal crash that occurred on Louisiana Highway 33 just south of Farmerville in Union Parish. An investigation by State Police revealed 28-year-old Zachary Colvin of Dubach, LA, was driving a 2011 GMC Sierra south on LA 33 when it struck a 2013 Volvo 18-wheeler in the rear. After striking the 18-wheeler, the GMC began to overturn and traveled into the northbound lane of LA 33. A 2007 Harley-Davidson motorcycle driven by 57-year-old Gregory Cox of Downsville, LA, was traveling northbound and struck the GMC as it was...
