Elvaston man cited for DUI after hitting car and tree - Quincy Herald Whig

-- A two-vehicle collision in Elvaston on Saturday evening sent two to the hospital and resulted in multiple citations for an Elvaston man. Cole, 55, and Robert P. Cole, 60, both of Elvaston, were taken to Blessing Hospital by helicopter for treatment of nonlife-threatening injuries. The Illinois State Police reported Mark Cole was heading eastbound on U. S. 136 in a 1972 GMC pickup truck around 4:28 p. m. when it failed to yield at Laurel Street in Elvaston and struck the rear driver's side corner of a 2008 Chevrolet... The GMC then left the north side of the road and struck a tree. Robert Cole was one of two passengers in the GMC.
