Ford diesel fast fill vent with grommet replaces Ford part # F4TA-9B593-GAConnects to 5/8" rubber vent line that routes to upper part of fill neck.1/4" breather line connects to hose which is routed up to a point higherthan tank to allow air back into tank as fuel is used.This part was usually found on 90-97 diesel trucks but can also be usedon 80-89 trucks.
This part allows truck to be filled using a truck stop pump.If this vent is used to replace an existing fast fill vent that may of brokeit will be a direct replacement.If you are upgrading your truck to a fast fill the inner hose of yourfill neck will need to be removed and a 5/8 fitting will need to be welded intothe upper part of the fill neck.
