Man, woman critically injured in motorcycle crash in Chesterfield Township - WXYZ

(WXYZ) - Chesterfield Township police say a man and a woman were critically injured when a car hit a motorcycle late Saturday night. According to police, a 44-year-old man from Warren and a 41-year-old woman from Fraser were on the motorcycle when it was hit at the intersection of 26 Mile and Gratiot. A 34-year-old Rochester Hills man driving a Ford Ranger pickup hit the two, and dragged them about 600 yards while trying to flee the scene. According to police, witnesses even saw the man stop in he middle of the road and try to get the motorcycle out from underneath the pickup truck. According to police, the man told them he had been drinking before the accident, and "panicked" and fled after he hit the motorcycle. Source: www.wxyz.com
