Authorities looking for a vehicle from hit-and run - The News-Press
The vehicle is described as a dark blue Chevy 1500 with an extended cab and an 8-foot bed. The crash occurred at 3:30 p. m. along Slater Road just north of Slater Pines Drive in North Fort Myers. According to a Florida Highway Patrol report, an unknown vehicle was trying to pass a 1994 Ford Ranger that was making a left onto a private driveway when the vehicle attempted to pass the Ford Ranger on the left in a no passing zone. The front right of the unknown vehicle struck the left portion of the Ford Ranger which entered a ditch. Source: www.news-press.com
