Driver arrested after cop sees burnout - Pueblo Chieftain

-- Doing spinning tire “burnouts” in front of an officer while possibly drunk and with your driver’s license revoked is bound to lead to trouble. On Sunday, an officer in the 4900 block of North Elizabeth Street observed a blue 2014 Ford F-150 pickup truck perform a burnout on wet concrete before venturing into a parking lot. The officer then made contact with the driver, John Pacheco, 27, of Pueblo. Upon contact, the officer noted that the suspect shut the vehicle off and handed the keys to the front-seat passenger. Pacheco was placed under arrest and held at Pueblo County jail on suspicion of DUI, DUI per se, careless driving and driving under restraint (revoked). An officer found a white four-door Chrysler fully engulfed in flames in a field near Dick Trefz Street and Hereford Road Saturday. Lauri Kaye Bunce, 45, of Pueblo County, was arrested Saturday on suspicion of aggravated motor vehicle theft. She was being held at jail with no bail set, pending a court appearance. , 29, of the 270 block of East Kipling Drive in Pueblo West, was arrested Saturday on suspicion of aggravated motor vehicle theft and possession of burglary tools.
