Founded in August 1975, the Pomona Swap Meet is the West Coast's largest automotive swap meet, and it's pretty much a core element of gearhead culture here in SoCal. The meet is held at the LA Fairplex (the country fairgrounds) in Pomona, California, in the parking lot where NHRA drag racing began (the first NHRA race was held here in 1953, and the Winternationals and World Finals still happen here) and where... Many HOT ROD car features were also photographed on the site in the '50s and '60s, and the present-day LA Roadsters Show and Grand National Roadster Show are also held on the Fairgrounds.
