Loose tire leads to 4-vehicle chain reaction crash - Cincinnati.com
Daniel Kidd drove a white 2002 dodge Truck onto southbound I-75 when the left front tire detached and rolled into the roadway near the Ohio 129 exit around 5:50 a. m. , police said. The tire struck a green 2012 Chevrolet Equinox driven by Vinitha Crump in the left center lane. Crump was struck from behind by a red 2012 Ford F-150 when she slowed down, police said. The collision caused Crump's vehicle to spin around and face north on the roadway, police said. Crump's vehicle was then struck head-on by a blue Ford Taurus, driven by Leslie Dumas, and was disabled in the left lane, police said. Dumas and Debord were transported to Atrium Hospital with injuries not considered to be life-threatening, police said. Source: www.cincinnati.com
