Up for sale is a nice 1998 Dodge Ram 2500 4X4 automatic transmission with the great 12 valve Cummins Turbo Engine the truck currently has 204,000 miles on it however the engine was completely rebuilt around 10,000 miles ago the previous owner said the transmission was gone through, and beefed up however I do not have any paperwork on what was done. I bought the truck to be used on the farm to pull trailers so I could leave my nice truck in the garage however I didn't realize that car seats do not fit very well in the back seat and can only put 1 in the middle which is great for 1 kid but were planning on having a 2nd soon so this will be a problem very soon. The previous owner used it to pull his 5th wheel camper twice a year he removed the hitch and I installed a B&W turnover gooseneck ball. It has pulled a couple loads for me weighing in around 12,000-14,000 lbs and it pulled great. The throttle positioning sensor was removed, and replaced with a potentiometer which controls the transmission better and has a switch to control how it shifts. The truck is turned up some but not much the turbo was also replaced when overhauled. There is no oil leaks on the truck the frame does have slight rust for a 98 but overall is in great shape. The rear bumper has been beat up some and the rust on the truck is very minimal and the paint is good shape please look at the pictures to see the few bad spots on the truck. It is overall a very clean truck for being a 98 dodge. The AC works great the heat blows hot power windows and locks with remote locks. This will make someone a very nice truck I had no plans of selling it any time soon but the wife says otherwise happy wife happy life! I would not hesitate to drive this any where at any time I was told the trucks previous owners where all related. The front end was rebuilt and steering is very tight with newer shocks all around.
