A Memphis man is now without a car after a man stole his vehicle from a local dealership while it was being serviced for an oil change. Lawson Arney took his 2010 Acura MDX to the Acura dealership on Ridgeway Road Wednesday morning. Management at the dealership said while the car was in the service bay, a man who was waiting around hopped in and took off. "Said he was waiting on his wife to bring in her car and then a minute later he hopped into my car and drove off," says Arney. The vehicle is a gray 2010 Acura MDX with a cardio barre sticker on the front and yellow parking sticker on the back. Management with the dealership said they are doing everything they can to help locate the vehicle, but if it is not found, Arney is responsible for replacing it. The Acura dealership released the following statement:. THIS IS GREG HAPKE, GENERAL MANAGER AT ACURA OF MEMPHIS. THE OWNERSHIP TEAM AT ACURA OF MEMPHIS AND I HAVE BEEN VERY INVOLVED IN MAKING SURE THAT THIS ISSUE COMES TO A QUICK RESOLUTION WITH THE CUSTOMER BEING TAKE CARE OF AT THE HIGHEST LEVEL.
