2016 Acura ILX offers many options - Examiner.com

The ILX was a new Acura model for the 2013 model year. Even though it’s based on the Honda Civic, it shares no body parts with that Honda model and now has completely different powertrain options. The base model came with a 150-horsepower, 2. 0-liter four-cylinder engine and a five-speed automatic transmission. The sportiest choice used a 201-horsepower 2. 4-liter four-cylinder, and was available only with a six-speed manual transmission. A third option, the ILX Hybrid used the same 1. 5-liter four-cylinder hybrid drive system as the Civic model, and was the first to be discontinued. Fuel economy is excellent at 25/36 mpg city/highway, making the ILX one of the most fuel efficient gas-powered entry-level premium sedans. Freshened front and rear end treatments include new LED headlights and there are several new safety features available, including a blind-spot warning system, rear-cross traffic alerts, lane keeping assist, forward collision mitigation, adaptive...
