<?xml:namespace prefix="o" />The clutch pilot bearing connects the manual transmission input shaft to the engine crankshaft. The bearing allows the input shaft to rotate independently of the crankshaft. A pilot bearing can either be a bearing with balls or rollers, or can be a solid bushing (usually brass/bronze) that is inserted into the end of the crankshaft and is used to center and align the input shaft of the transmission to the engine crankshaft. They are usually applied to vehicles which use manual transmissions. Our pilot bearings are of the highest quality and many are sourced from the same manufacturers that supply the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM).
