It was removed from a 2008 Audi A4 but maybe will work on 2005 thru 2008 S6 models of some AUDI vehicles such as the A4, S4, A6, S6. Should fit 2005 - 2008 Audi A4 S4 A6 S6 and maybe A8 as far as my research but do your own research as I am not responsible for wrong fitment. Please check to make sure as I will not give refund if it does not work on your car due to you know your car better as I describe as much as I can.
The mirror is in good working condition and the auto dimming is in working condition.This unit is for the rain sensor option model with a bigger mount. The plug has 6 pins inside and to mount and unmount the mirror by turning the unit clockwise to install and remove. Please double check to make sure the connector and mount is correct as there is an 8 pins plug version as well. Please check to make sure your car mount is this kind of style as well as the plug as there are one other unit with an 8 pins plug... Please email me if you have any question as I will try my best to answer you. It is in black color.
The auto dimming will darken the mirror automatically when the cars behind you or on the side is too bright or with high bean as well as cars from opposite direction with to bright headlight or high bean. It will then clears back to normal when the brightness reduce from cars in front or behind automatically.
