17 Porsche 919 Hybrid provided a maiden win for Mark Webber, Timo Bernhard and Brendon Hartley following their second place at Le Mans in June. And last weekend’s success for Webber, Hartley and Bernhard puts them just 17 points behind Audi’s André Lotterer, Marcel Fassler and Benoît Treluyer in the fight for this year’s World Endurance Drivers' title. The Australian-German-New Zealand driver trio stamped their authority on the race and capitalized after their sister car of Marc Lieb, Neel Jani and Romain Dumas lost time when they had to serve three penalties for exceeding the fuel allowance... Lotterer, Fassler and Treluyer finished third for Audi, Lotterer passing teammate Lucas di Grassi – who was partnered by Loïc Duval and Brit Oliver Jarvis – late on.
