Andy Meyrick , one of Bentley 's works GT3 endurance racing drivers, was on course for a career as a top-flight professional footballer when he got the motor racing bug instead. Not content with being an above averagely talented weekend warrior, Meyrick wasted no time parlaying his skill into a series of top drives in the only sport more difficult to break into than football. Via the American Le Mans Series, Le Mans itself, and currently the hotly contested Blancpain Endurance Series, Meyrick finds himself today at Thruxton, officially the fastest circuit in the UK, with Team GQ.
