The spring retainers utilize wrap around spring windows and thicker retainer stampings to provide spring support, reduce stress concentrations, and increase strength and reliability. The clutch disc hub is manufactured with strength and durability in mind as well as providing increased torque capacity and spline life while maintaining quiet operation and reduced driveline shock.
