Crash sends 3 to hospital - The Sparta Independent

— A late Friday morning two-vehicle accident on Sparta Avenue sent three people to the hospital and snarled traffic for more than an a hour and thirty minutes. , multiple 911 calls reporting a serious motor vehicle accident sent emergency personnel to the intersection of Sparta Avenue and Andover Road. Brian Hassloch, a Certified Accident Reconstructionist, a 1996 Buick Skylark operated by 45-year-old Joy L. Biasi, of Hackettstown, was traveling south on Sparta Avenue near the Rev. A 2013 Ford F-1 pick-up Truck operated by 26-year-old Robert A. Sole, of Hamburg, was traveling north. Sole’s vehicle entered into the intersection when Biasi’s vehicle suddenly attempted to make a left hand turn onto Andover Road in front of Sole’ s truck causing a head-on collison. Biasi’s vehicle spun counter clockwise traveling north until coming to rest, facing east on the shoulder of the intersection, according to police. Sole’s truck continued traveling north before coming to rest facing east in the middle of the intersection. Sole and Curren suffered head, neck and back injuries. Source: spartaindependent.com
