Suspect flees on foot after high-speed chase - Lebanon Democrat

State troopers searched for an unidentified suspect early Wednesday morning after he led them on a high-speed chase, abandoned his car and fled on foot in Lebanon. A trooper clocked a 2000 four-door Buick LeSabre at about 2 a. m. , traveling 90 mph eastbound on Interstate 40 at mile-marker 223 near Mt. Juliet. The trooper chased the Buick several miles, but he called off the pursuit when it reached Lebanon. The driver exited the interstate at the South Hartmann Drive exit, turned on Leeville Pike and then Crowell Lane before he turned on Hickory Ridge Road and then Rocky Road. The suspect abandoned his vehicle in the Main Street Landscaping parking lot and ran east behind businesses on Main Street. Source: www.lebanondemocrat.com
