Cadillac OEM Used Homelink Garage Remote Control Switch Box 25697162 ROLLING CODE
This part is in excellent used condition. This is the most updated unit which supports rolling and non-rolling codes. This will fit older vehicles that have the homelink slot. Programming instructions are not supplied but are in your owners manual or go to Homelink's web site.
This transmitter has been tested to light up when the buttons are pressed. (The OLDER units featured one button with a small 3-position switch, and required an additional wired-in box to be located adjacent to the opener motor.) This NEWER style does not require the additional box, and has 3 individual buttons. If your gate or garage door opener has an existing wireless remote (i.e., the kind you clip to your sun visor), then this will probably work for you.
These are designed to fit right into your standard equipment Cadillac garage door opener retainer located between the sun visors adjacent to your map lights. It was on DeVille from 1980 through 2005; Seville, 1980 - 2004; Eldorado, 1980 - 2002; Brougham, 1987 - 1992; All Fleetwood & Commercial models 1980 - 1996; Fleetwood Sixty Special, 1987 - 1993; Fleetwood Seventy-Five, 1980-1987; and Cimarron, 1982 - 1988.
