UPDATE: T he body discovered behind the People's Clinic in Detroit on Monday has been identified as missing 23-year-old Cynthia Worthy, according to sources. The Detroit Police Department is asking for the public's help in finding a missing woman who was last seen on August 14. Cynthia Worthy, 23, was last seen at her home in the 3200 block of Cortland around 3:00 p. m. Her sister says she was supposed... Worthy is described as a black female, 23-years-old, 5'3", 200 lbs, medium complexion, red and auburn hair with brown eyes. "Me, as a parent, finding out that she was doing these things is really difficult," said Priscilla Harrison, Cynthia's mother. "It's really difficult and my thing right now is for people to hold their opinions and find my daughter. She exchanged texts and spoke to her daughter by phone Friday around 9 p. m. Family members told Action News her vehicle, a 2005 Chevy Trailblazer, was discovered Sunday afternoon in Oak Park. "Regardless to what she chose to do, it still does not justify violence or kidnapping someone or holding them against their will," said Worthy's father, Shawn Willis.
