Two Waynesboro Men Charged with Sexual Assault - WHSV

Waynesboro police arrested two Waynesboro men on unrelated sexual assaults. Bobby Lorenzo Morton, 31, faces two felonies stemming from a Friday night incident at a residence in the 1000 block of Bridge Avenue. The victim and Morton are relatives. As officers were interviewing the mother and the victim nearby, Morton left the residence and stole a vehicle, a 1999 Chevrolet Monte Carlo, belonging to the victim’s mother, then fled the scene. Officers were able to locate the car with Morton sleeping inside at approximately 10 a. m. on May 30 near the victim’s residence. David Lee White, 31, faces a single felony for forcible sodomy stemming from a sexual assault of a six-year-old boy last fall. In early May of 2015, the victim’s mother reported to police that her son told her White, who was a family friend at the time, molested him in October 2014. According to his mother, the victim had recently attended the “Hugs & Kisses” presentation... The assault happened at the victim’s residence which is in the Tree Streets neighborhood of the city. The investigation culminated in White’s arrest at 9 am on June 1 at his residence on South Winchester Avenue. Both White and Morton are being held without bond at Middle River Regional Jail.
