Man hospitalized after 2-car crash - The Republic
A local resident was transported by LifeLine helicopter to an Indianapolis hospital after a two-car accident on Marr Road on the north side of Columbus. Samuel Whitehead, 57, of Columbus, was listed in stable condition at IU Health Methodist Hospital, hospital officials said. Whitehead was driving a 2005 Chevrolet Monte Carlo north on Marr Road about 7:46 a. m. Friday when he stopped to turn west onto Bridge Pointe Drive. Whitehead’s car traveled down an embankment into a ditch on the left side of Marr Road, deputies said.
