Road-rage suspect arraigned in Washtenaw County - Livingston Daily

A Whitmore Lake man has been arraigned on charges alleging he fired a gun at a Brighton man as the two traveled on U. S. 23 in Washtenaw County. Jackson, who was released from custody on a $5,000 personal bond, returns to Washtenaw County’s 14A-1 District Court on Thursday for a preliminary exam conference with the preliminary exam following Aug. Michigan State Police said the incident occurred at around 8:30 a. m. Wednesday when both Jackson and the victim reported a collision between their vehicles and a gunshot. State police said the incident began on southbound U. S. 23 near Joy Road in Northfield Township in Washtenaw County and ended on eastbound M-14 near Ford Road in Superior Township, which also is in Washtenaw County. Police said the suspect admitted putting his gun out the driver’s-side window of his 2004 Chevrolet Cavalier and firing a single shot at the victim, who was driving a 2000 GMC Yukon.
