BAY CITY, MI — Two people involved in a two-vehicle crash in rural Bay County remain hospitalized in serious condition, police say. 27, when a gray Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck and a red 1996 Chevrolet Cavalier collided at the intersection of Linwood and Mackinaw roads in Kawkawlin Township, according to Bay County Undersheriff Troy Cunningham. McQuade and Bardoni, both 21 and from Bay City, were severely injured, with McQuade taken via helicopter to St. Mary's hospital in Saginaw, according to police. Bardoni and the baby, who was not injured, were transported to the same hospital by ambulance, police said. McQuade and Bardoni remained hospitalized in serious condition as of Friday morning, Cunningham said. McQuade was driving north on Mackinaw when the pickup truck, driving eastbound on Linwood, crashed into the driver's side door, pushing the car into a utility pole on its passenger's side.
