The new home, which features a wraparound deck, is located on the busy corner of Butler Street and Richmond Street and in what was once considered the "center of the chocolate universe," according to a local newspaper. The move was first reported by the Dorchester Reporter , the neighborhood newspaper. The new home is near the Milton border, a few blocks away from Boston's Mattapan neighborhood, and close to the Neponset River. Walsh is moving into the Lower Mills home with his longtime girlfriend, Lorrie Higgins. Walsh, a former union chief, has owned the home on Tuttle Street in Savin Hill since 1999. He was elected as a state representative from Boston's Dorchester neighborhood in 1997. The Tuttle Street home is a short walk away from the three-decker he...
